There is a good news for iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS users who has upgraded their firmware to 3.1.3, can now jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 using Sn0wbreeze. We will be using latest version of Sn0wbreeze 1.3 to jailbreak iPhone 2G, 3G and iPhone 3GS. If you have iPod Touch 3.1.3 firmware, then you can not jailbreak iPod.

How To Jailbreak iPhone on 3.1.3 Firmware With sn0wbreeze :


  1. Download and install iTunes 9.0.3. After that take a full backup of your data. This will help you to roll back in case some thing goes wrong.
  2. Download Sn0wbreeze 1.3 and start it.
  3. Choose the Simple Mode, you can choose Expert Mode if you want to do more things. We recommend choose Simple Mode.
  4. Now locate the iPhone 3.1.3 firmware for your gadget. You can download the 3.1.3 firmware from here.
  5. Sn0wbreeze will check the ipsw file and give you verification confirmation message, click Next.
  6. You will be asked for Do you want to activate your iPhone?, click Yes. If you are on official carrier, choose Click No.
  7. Sn0wbreeze will start the process of generating custom firmware file.
  8. Once this process finishes, launch iTunes 9.0.3, and from the left menu choose your gadget. Now keeping holding Shift key, click Restore and locate custom firmware file that Sn0wbreeze created. This Sn0wbreeze generated file would be at your desktop.
  9. Let iTunes do what it is doing, once the updates completes, you iPhone will restart with complete jailbroken iPhone 3.1.3 firmware. Once jailbroken, you can unlock your iPhone to use with any sim card.
